INTERNATIONAL WRESTLING CARTEL

JULY 29, 2005

Just a few hours from now, we¹ll be at perhaps the biggest IWC event ever, No Excuses. By the biggest, I¹m referring to the fact that IWC has the opportunity to draw a new crowd thanks to radio and television ads, newspaper coverage, and the media¹s attention to the Matt Hardy situation.

I hope that every other IWC fan is just as excited as I am to break our little promotion and make it something bigger. In our hearts, we know that the shows that have been happening have been decent this year. It¹s letting the rest of the world know that as well.

Anyway, what¹s this column about? It¹s about some of the things that this IWC fan turned expert wants people to think about.

What I have been noticing is Jason Gory and Shiima Xion. These two came up together through the IWC Training Center. So what you¹re seeing in the ring is more than just a few months of experience. You¹re seeing two young men who started training around the age of 16 and have been putting themselves through the ringer to get better each and every time they step into the ring.

They¹ve really been testing themselves, too. Witness both of their Super Indy matches. Could you, sitting in your seat or watching on the television, get up and have the fortitude to challenge Low-Ki or Homicide? Not me. No way.

Could your neck survive taking any of their moves, moves with names like Masochistic Healing, The Filipino Destroyer, or From Lust to Dust? I don¹t think so. These guys aren¹t just highly conditioned athletes. They¹re certifiable.

Tonight, when these two grapplers square off for what will be their final match in some time, think of that. Think of over two years of constant dedication before they even debuted. Almost one full year of death defying maneuvers, like Shiima landing back first at The Palisades. Match after match of determination, like Jason not giving up when Low-Ki decimated him with kicks.

Put all of that into the ring and you¹ll see the match I¹m most looking forward to.

And to start a running theme, my predictions for this show:

The Gambinos are going to murder those two ungrateful punks, J-Rocc and Troy Lords. J-Rocc seems like he has a clear head on his shoulders, but Troy Lords always sticks in my craw. I just don¹t like the kid. No respect for anyone and no haircut consistency. Shaved head, long hair, then shaved head. Make up your mind about your coiffure and then we¹ll talk.

I see Eddie Kingston surprising everyone and putting a finish to Doe¹s title run. Doe has been a different wrestler, trying to please the fans by mat wrestling and trying new things. He should have stuck to what brought him to the title. Fighting. Instead, he¹s gotten soft and Friday will be Kingston¹s night.

Claudio is good, but Fabulous is better. And I really want to see Chris Hero make Glenn Spectre submit again. That¹s real wrestling right there. I don¹t much care for the girls getting in there, but if they stay out of the way, I¹m all for this match.

And finally, I can¹t wait to see Tracy and Chris smack the hell out of Dark and Hentai. I¹ve hated Sebastian ever since he hospitalized me a year ago. I¹ll never forgive that long nosed and haired drunkard for what he put my family through. I hope he dies a long, slow death from liver failure... or that Chris Hammrick breaks his brain.

That¹s all for this time fans! Thanks for reading and I really hope to see you at the show. Look for me, notes in hand, wearing my favorite sportsman¹s visor!
