INTERNATIONAL WRESTLING CARTEL

Super Indy V.

IWC tag team title match.

Gambinos vs Burning River Brigade.

Jimmy Demarco interferes on behalf of his cousins, which causes an automatic disqualification.

Although M-Dogg 20 and Josh Prohibition won the match, by virtue of the dq, the Gambinos retain the straps.

Who's first on the scene, sticking his nose in my business yet again?

Why, Norm Connors, of course.

Norm comes right up to me and says, in that condescending Norm tone of voice, "What happened NOW?"

Well, if you must know, being the official assigned this match, I saw a blatant infraction of the rules. Therefore, I signaled for the bell.

The same thing happened one month earlier in a heavyweight title defense by Shirley Doe. As you all know, in that instance, Norm decided to change the rules as we went along and overturned my decision. Of course, we all know how that ended up, and who walked away with the last laugh after all.

Face-to-face with Mr. Connors, I asked him what he was going to do about it, and then I did the professional thing - I walked away.

Some may say that I took the coward's way out. I disagree. I simply diffused the situation. Trust me, I am a very non-confrontational person. Seriously.

I find it funny that I was criticized for calling for the dq (for the second show in a row) in a title match. Some say I should have let things go due to the importance of both matches. Again, I disagree.

How come nobody has criticized CJ Sensation for stopping the Super Indy tournament finals between Delirious and Troy Lords? Sure, Lords had passed out, but he never gave up! He was never pinned, counted-out, or disqualified. Even Norm tried getting the match stopped by throwing in the towel for Lords.

A double-standard in IWC? Why, never!

I am so sick of being disrespected. However, I will not go anywhere.

I love IWC. I have the utmost respect for everyone in the locker room. I even like some of the fans. Although, I do think it was ridiculous that I was actually booed by a large portion of the crowd at SI V. I don't care, however. You pay your money, so do whatever you want.

After all, most of you are simply Norm's puppets.

I better stop here before I go off on another tangent. I will say this, though...

If you keep pushing me, eventually I'll push back. Watch yourself, Norm. Believe me when I say that you'd rather have me on your side than against you.
