INTERNATIONAL WRESTLING CARTEL

June 15th, 2006

This is the third time I've written this column.

The first time was early Saturday morning. As I lied awake, I had a million thoughts tumbling through my mind. I typed up an angry column that surely would have seen me thrown off of the website for the vulgar language it contained.

After thinking things over, I wrote a different column, which surveyed the situation a little bit more levelheaded.

Then I got an email. My buddy Dave from California wrote me, posting a website address, and the following question...

"Who's Scott Colter?"

Before I go any further, allow me to look at the events of YOUR senior official's past week one-by-one.

-In the middle of the ring at "Summer Sizzler 3", set both Norm Connors and CJ Sensation straight. Laid down the law, like only Steve Colter can do. And for the record, I am NOT a fruitcake.

-Referee'd a match between Jason Cage and Jimmy Demarco that supposedly contained the usage of a chair. After getting chewed out backstage by Norm, I walk back out to officiate the Dean Radford and HENTAI contest.

-After counting the pin in favor of HENTAI, Radford chases me backstage, and literally right out of the building. Why? Jeff Gorman tells me that HENTAI had his feet on the ropes. Then, I read the following on the IWC message board from some guy that calls himself "Moose": "Radford also had his hands on the bottom rope. Why don't you send that footage to your precious PSAC, huh, Colter?"

Ok, first off, I have no idea what you are talking about. All I saw was Radford's shoulder blades flat on the mat, so I counted the three. And to you, "Moose", don't you EVER make comments in regards to the Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission. They are good people, and they do an incredible job.

-The last match that I assigned to myself for the evening was the three-way for the tag team titles with champions the Burning River Brigade of M-Dogg 20 and Josh Prohibition, The Cleveland Mafia of J-Rocc and Raymond Rowe, and The Gambinos of Mickey and Marshall. To clear up any confusion regarding this match, when Demarco ran in during this match, Marshall told him to "give me the chair". Well, Jimmy gave it to him all right. I'll allow it. Congrats to the new champs from Ohio. I am from Stuckeyville, OH, you know.

-The main event. The ridiculous atrocity of Shirley Doe defending the heavyweight title against Dennis Gregory, receiving his, what, 39th title shot? Let's look at the controversy in this one...

1. Gregory attacks Doe before the opening bell had sounded.

2. Connors allows Gregory to take the match into the stands twice, both times seeing Gregory using the bleachers as a weapon.

3. Connors stopped counting a pinfall for Doe in order to flip him off.

4. Sensation, fresh off of being fined $750 by the PSAC for attacking wrestlers (which, shock, Norm paid for him) yet again attacks Sebastian Dark.

5. When Connors was incapacitated, and I was counting a pinfall for Doe, I was attacked and choked by Norm.

6. As I was attempting to politely move him out of my way, Connors responds by slapping me across the face, then...

7. Throwing me out of the ring.

8. After the travesty of a three count, Connors then kicks me in the stomach and hits me with a Stone Cold Stunner.

Are you kidding me?!?!? My first night on the job as YOUR senior official, and this happens?

I want to now publicly thank my close friend Shirley Doe for being such a kindhearted soul that he carried me to the locker room following the heinous attack I received.

-After writing two separate columns, I read the Pittsburgh Post Gazette article covering IWC. Well, covering Norm Connors, but IWC was also mentioned. And there it is, in black and white- Scott Colter.

SCOTT COLTER?

To make matters worse, the attack that was perpetrated against me, was credited to Norm! I got slapped, I got thrown from the ring. Norm claims those things happened to him, in a pathetic attempt at getting sympathy.

As much as people may be sick of my complaining, how can you NOT see a problem here? The disrespect is staggering. I come to every IWC show, do my job better than anyone else, and this is how I'm treated?

Anyway, I'm going to close with another piece of business. I have sent an email to the Commission regarding both Connors' and Sensation's actions this past Friday night. I promise you that they will see things my way, and there will be action taken regarding these two. I see that fines don't do anything to scare off these two from acting as they do. Maybe some stricter action is needed.

-Steven Colter
