![]() August 17th, 2006 In lieu of a regular column this week, I would like to publicly make the following statement: I, Steven Colter, YOUR IWC senior official, should not be held responsible for Dennis Gregory being stripped of the IWC heavyweight championship. I will not deny being quite pleased with this recent turn of events, however, I am not to be blamed for this action of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission. In my column last week, I made mention of my intentions of meeting with the Commission this week in Harrisburg, PA. Granted, I may have already had contact with them regarding other matters, but this is not my doing. I will indeed be undergoing talks with them later this week in person regarding some issues that have come up in my role as YOUR senior official. Furthermore, I would like to publicly disagree with IWC promoter Norm Connors' decision to hold a tournament in order to crown a new heavyweight champion. As a representative of the Unholy Alliance, I speak for not only myself but also Shirley Doe, Sebastian Dark, HENTAI, Dean Radford, and Abyss when I state that we collectively feel that the championship should be returned to its previous owner, Shirley Doe, no questions asked. My regular column will return in one week. In the meantime, I would like to reiterate once again that I am not to be held responsible for the stripping of the IWC heavyweight title from Dennis Gregory. Sincerely, The International Wrestling Cartel Senior Official,-Steven Colter { - RETURN TO THE MAIN PAGE - } |
