![]() December 1st, 2005 We
are only days away from the final show of IWC's 2005 calendar.
Much has happened in the past twelve months. As we prepare for Winter Bash this Saturday night, we all face a lot of uncertainty. Regardless, we head to Clarion University for what promises to be another big day in the world of IWC. Allow me to take a look at the show, match-by-match. -Jerry Lawler v Kamala. Two men that have a lot of history, and two men that a lot (if not most) of the IWC locker room grew up watching. This should definitely be an interesting match. -Southern Comfort v Sandmn-Tommy Dreamer. Two of the best "Super Indy's" on the scene today, against two hardcore legends. Off the top of my head, I can't recall this match ever happening before, and let's face it- it probably never will again. Definitely a historic match-up. -Team IWC (Glenn Spectre-Gambinos) v Anti-IWC (Shirley Doe-HENTAI-Sebastian Dark-Soldier). Basically a rematch of the chaotic main event from Newville two weeks ago. There is a lot of underlying hatred in this match, and it will be interesting to see if Wonderman, the new tag champs, and Jimmy Demarco can take a stand and defend the honor of our promotion. -Jason Gory v Larry Sweeney. The third time will be the charm for these two, as they meet again in an IWC ring. Both previous matches have been pretty crazy, and I highly doubt this one will be any different. -Bolen v J-Rocc. There is definitely some unfinished business in this match. These two were to be on opposing sides of the ring at the last Uniontown show, but J-Rocc tried to pull the proverbial wool over IWC's eyes. This time, there will be no escape, and I don't think that Bolen will forget the attack from several shows back. -Lord Zoltan v Dominic Denucci. Two Pittsburgh legends collide. I am really looking forward to see what each man still has in the tank, and this will be a fun match for all of us fans of wrestling's past. -Mineo Fujita v Troy Lords. Fujita made a successful debut this past Saturday, and very little is still known about him. Lords has been on a hot streak since accepting the fans on his side. This is the match I am looking forward to the most on Saturday. -Shiima Xion v Jason Cage. Two of the most promising young talents on the indy scene today. Whomever wins this one will take a bis step towards title contention in IWC. -Patriot v King Kahlua. Patriot was on the winning end both times these two men collided two weeks ago, and you know that Kahlua has got to be itching for a win. Can he pull it off?? Turn out this Saturday night at Winter Bash, the last stop for the IWC train in 2005. -Steven Colter { - RETURN TO THE MAIN PAGE - } |
