with me!!
(To the tune of the British Bulldogs theme) Da, da-da-da, da, da-da-da-da-da IWC has completed it's 2005. So much has happened, but I would like to focus on the past weekend's blockbuster event, the Winter Bash at Clarion University. Jerry Lawler and Kamala renewed a rivalry that has raged on for literally decades. The most memorable moment to me?? Did you hear the splat that Lawler's body made when he hit the floor?? I'm surprised he could even get up afterwards. He must have been watching his tapes of Shiima Xion. The "Unholy Alliance" continued their reign of terror, this time with the help of IWC International champion Soldier. Dennis Gregory, Glenn Spectre, Bolen, and Jason Cage put up a great fight, but Shirley Doe and his minions still pulled it out. Who can beat John McChesney?? Shannon Moore has now come up short three times, and this time he had Chris Hamrick alongside him. Then again, we can't forget that McChesney did have Tommy Dreamer on his side. That would seem to change the dynamic a little bit. The Gambinos turned back the challenge of Shiima and my fellow columnist Chris Maverick. However, I can see tag gold in their future. Mark my words. Troy Lords- IWC champion in 2006?? If the showings he's put on recently are any indication, the answer is a resounding yes. The fact that he was able to come back from that sick swanton from Mineo Fujita and win the match is amazing. Bryce Remsburg- champion?? Congrats go to my fellow zebra on the win. Bryce Remsburg- ex-champion?? Condolences to my fellow zebra on the loss. Jason Gory and Larry Sweeney again showed that they are two young lions to watch in the future, as they pulled out all the stops again in a great contest. The J-Rocc-Gambinos feud had another chapter written Saturday, as "The Big Daddy of Destruction" got his revenge on Jimmy Demarco. I don't know about you, but I'm looking forward to the rubber match. Domenic Denucci is my current choice for IWC newcomer of the year. However, I just can't shake the image of him and Kingdom James dancing following the match. Strange, indeed. Finally, do you think that King Kaluha will ever catch a break?? Again, the Patriot had his number. Another win for the ole US of A. Next week- my own thoughts on the big announcements regarding IWC's 2006. I must now leave you and go hug my Glenn Spectre autograph. What?!?!? -Steven Colter { - RETURN TO THE MAIN PAGE - } |
