INTERNATIONAL WRESTLING CARTEL

INTERROGATION
J-ROCC

Conducted by Joe Dombrowski
IWC Color Commentator / Media Correspondent

Recently I sat down with "The Big Daddy of Destruction" J-Rocc to discuss his past accomplishments, current goals, and why he has joined the stable of IWC Champion "The Sexual Icon" Eric Xtasy & "Wonder Man" Glenn Spectre.

Q: Familiarize the fans, if you will, with the early goings of your career, your training and your first entering the wrestling business.

A: Plain and simple, I have spent the last six years under the tutelage of many of the best wrestlers known to man, studying every style and skill imaginable and absorbing myself into this business, to forge the man that stands before you now, poised to change the face of IWC, and independent wrestling as you know it. I am not an idiot that provides my opponents with any
information they might use against me in the future, therefore nothing else needs to be revealed at this time.

Q: You've had quite an eventful career, what would you consider some of your pre-IWC highlights?

A: Well, that much you have right, much of the last six years I have always been in the center of it all, and as you will all see, my IWC tenure will be no different. I have wrestled across this country for some of the most prestigious independent groups around, including NWA Wildside, Heartland Wrestling, IWC and IWA Mid South; have spent the last year appearing on worldwide television and have appeared on PPV for NWA-TNA; have had over 350 matches and competed against a virtual who's who of professional wrestling: CM Punk, Tracy Smothers, Doink, Kamala II, Kid Kash, Nova, HC Loc, HWA Heavyweight champion "Rapid Delivery" Rory Fox, Chris Hero, George "The Animal" Steele, WWE Hall of Fame Superstar Greg "The Hammer" Valentine, Chris Hamrick, "Sick" Nick Mondo, M-Dogg 20 and Josh Prohibition, "Spyder" Nate Webb, Rhyno, Big Vito, Julio Dinero, Christopher Daniels, Gillberg, Koko B. Ware, Jerry Lynn, Gangrel, Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart, "Classic" Colt Cabana, Bobby Blaze, Konnan, Ron Killings, Chris Sabin, Johnny Swinger, Simon Diamond, D-Lo Brown, "RoadDog" B.G. James, NWA World Tag Team Champions The Naturals (Andy Douglas & Chase Stevens), The Honky Tonk Man, Lord Zoltan, "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan, Nigel McGuiness, Marty Janetty, Alex Shelley, Abyss, NWA TNA X Division Champion Petey Williams, "Original Gangster" New Jack and many others; have been listed in the past four listings of PWI's top 500 wrestlers in the world; and the best part of all this is I am only 24 years old, so my star is most definitely still on the rise.

Q: Elaborate on your time in Nashville for NWA TNA, what you did there, how many times you appeared, etc.

A: As I stated earlier, I have spent the past year appearing on the TNA Xplosion television broadcasts, as well as PPV events. On Xplosion I have taken on such talents as CM Punk, Julio Dinero, Simon Diamond, Johnny Swinger, RoadDog BG James, NWA Tag Team Champions The Naturals, Abyss and Alex Shelley to their limits. Shoddy hometown officiating led to the decisions not always reflecting the beatings I actually inflicted, but you know who the man really is.

The thing is, they could never find anyone willing to put their reputation at stake on a PPV against me, I mean ask yourself and you wouldn't either; so I would end up selling my services as a thug to the TNA blackshirt security force, and believe you me the wrestlers knew better than to get out of line when I was on the black T-shirt squad. A few of them would get out of line and try to fight while I was on the clock, just check the tape, they quickly learned what the "Big Daddy of Destruction" was all about.

I will be heading to Orlando (home of the TNA Impact tapings) over the next few months to demonstrate to another redneck crowd, similar to the IWC fans, just how great I truly am, and put a few more of those so-called superstars in their place.

Q: You were thrust right into a high-pressure situation, taking on Hacksaw Jim Duggan in your IWC debut. Your thoughts on that match and also being mentored that night by the legendary maniacal Lord Zoltan?

A: OK, that night should have never happened, you know that didn't count so why bring it up? I was at the Big Butler Fair to cut some promos introducing myself for the television show and scout some of my future victims, you know get a lay of the land before I made my move. Well, the IWC promoter comes up to me and says "Rocc, the fans: they saw you, they know you're here, and they are threatening to riot if you don't perform for them. Please help me." Me, being the great guy I am said "Hell, what's it pay?" and after some quick negotiations, my astronomical fee was agreed upon, and I got my gear on and got ready to do what I do best.

Zoltan, he's a great guy, he pulls me aside and tells me about the shadyness that goes on behind closed doors in the IWC, and how true talent always gets held back for all the goody-two-shoes who follow the rules, and he said he would watch my back and make sure no one tried to deny me of my destiny. So Zoltan and I head to the ring, prepared for whatever jabroni IWC had for me in this so-called exhibition match, I go ahead and make the big deal of my IWC debut and the fans are living and dying by my every word, when out of nowhere this bitter ex-superstar named Jim Duggan comes marching out with his incredibly ILLEGAL 2 X 4 and uses it, hits me at least six or seven times upside the head before I lost consciousness, to cheat me of my big, huge, spectacular debut that everyone deserves, then runs like a coward when I get to my senses and was just about to beat some respect for J-Rocc into him. WE DONT TALK ABOUT THAT NIGHT ANYMORE!

Q: You continued to hone your skills on some of our untelevised events, but you appeared at our Summer Sizzler event, apparently scouting the Eric Xtasy/Jimmy Jacobs title match. What were your intentions then? Did you know then where you would end up just 2 weeks later?

A: I appeared on those house show events, and due to the above mentioned night that never really happened, I wasn't afforded the respect a talent such as myself truly deserves. They took one night, one loss that really should never ever have counted because I was nearly beaten senseless with a board and still kicked out of half a dozen near pins with the blood pouring down my brave body...never mind, I'm past that, it doesn't even bother me, but they held it against me and put me in opening matches and the like. I realized right then and there that I had to show them who I really am, and that meant a plan. It all went quite easily actually, that's the beauty of keeping as much to myself as I can, the less they know, the less they can prepare. I knew where I stood, and I knew how to change it.

At Summer Sizzler, if you watch the tape, it wasn't just Eric's match I was scouting. I watched each and every match that night, looking for the one person, the one event I could interject myself into that would make the most impact. I watched Shirley Doe and how, even though he cheated Glenn Spectre to get a title shot, the idiots at the CCAC cheered that lunatic like he was driving Miss Daisy or something, "Uhh gee Miss Shirley, I's a just a trying to cheer you ons to the title" Give me a break, it makes me sick! I knew right then what I was going to do, I just needed to get a closer look at Eric to make sure he was the right one to give my services to, and he proved to be all I thought and more.

Q: It was at "Hell Hath No Fury" that you, disguised as an Eric Xtasy fan, interfered in yet another of Xtasy's many attempts at taking shortcuts to retain his title against Shirley Doe. Why'd you do it?

A: For every reason I listed above and more. Shirley Doe is the antithesis of a professional wrestling champion, and the fact that those idiot fans would actually want to see their company represented by him shows me just how much their opinion is truly worth. So I used those fans' stupidity against them, as if you remember it was "Come Dressed As Your Favorite Wrestler Night." What marks, Eric got me all prettied up like the champ, and I fit in perfectly with those dumb losers dressed up like CM Punk, Chris Hero, the fat chick who said she was "Fabulous" John McChesney, all a bunch of dumb redneck marks! HA-HA, the joke was on all of you. Doe, the IWC promoters, the fans, NO ONE SAW ME COMING, and that is the way I roll!

Q: I think another thing we're all wondering is, exactly what kind of association you have with Xtasy? Is it as "close" as Xtasy's allegiance with Wonder Man Glenn Spectre? Is it strictly business?

A: Eric is the absolute epitome of a champion, and a man. He is someone you should all stand up for, and he is a role model for your children to follow and worship. I mean, c'mon, like the shirt says, it takes a real man to wear pink! Eric and Glenn, that is something special, something private and personal that you people mock, when it is meant to be loving and sensitive. Shame on all of you.

I, on the other hand, understand and support them in their relationship, and would never do anything that would drive a wedge between something that special. I mean, Eric is all man, and Glenn is kind of scrawny and all, but I am not here to point out anyone's flaws. I might not have them, but everyone else does, and it isn't fair to point them out. Eric and I have a special bond, you wouldn't understand it. I just saw something in his eyes that night at ringside, a real eye-of-the-tiger that I can't forget, but Glenn has nothing to fear. Besides, I have only begun to reveal my mission here in the IWC, and there is so much more to come

Q: By the way, my broadcast colleague Jeff Gorman and I were wondering about this at Summer Sizzler...what was up with that hat?

A: You obviously have no fashion sense, the fuzzy hat rules! I am a haberdasher (get a dictionary, or a GED) if you didn't know and I pride myself on having the greatest collection of extravagant hats known to indy wrestling. A head this pretty needs to be represented baby!

Q: I know fans have been getting under your skin lately with chants of...well..."Gay Rocc", but that aside, what are your thoughts on these IWC fans?

A: They are low-brow, classless, and of sub-average intelligence. Strike one against you all is obviously the fact you are from Pittsburgh or it's surrounding areas, not the home of the greatest football team in all the land, those men-and-a-half Cleveland Browns. Strike two would definitely be the fact that you smell very bad, I know, I had to sit amongst you smelly bastards last month! And strike three would be those nasty things you call me. My name is J-Rocc with a J not a G-A-Y, and not any other variation will suffice, nor is my last name sucks! I would appreciate the respect I deserve, although you did pay to see me so you can do what you want, I already have your money, HA!

Q: What should the fans expect when they see J-Rocc's name on an IWC card?

A: That's the beauty of being me - you never know what to expect from J-Rocc. One thing you always know, though, is that you've never felt that way before and you'll do anything to feel that way again. Remember, come hell or high water, sickness or health, by choice or by force, till death do us part - everybody gives it up one time for J-Rocc!

Q: On Saturday night September 25 your "associate" Xtasy defends the IWC Heavyweight Title against Shirley Doe, who still retains the position as #1 contender due to how many times outside circumstances have led to his coming up short of the title. Of course, Commission rep Chris Wood has stated the only way his sworn enemy Doe will get a title shot in this state is if he is the special referee. Promoter Norm Connors countered by adding a second referee: Mick Foley! Furthermore, you and the Wonder Man are barred from ringside. What are your thoughts on this match?

A: My thoughts are simple, this match should not even be taking place. I mean, how many title shots has Doe had and he has never - I MEAN NEVER- been able to get the job done and beat the champ. He always has one piddling excuse after another, but the fact remains he has come up short on countless occasions, and is taking away title shots from other deserving contenders such as El Medico who has been challenging Eric from Mexico for months but been unable to secure a title shot because of Doe, of Nippon Ichii the Japanese sensation who has been faxing us forever trying to get a title shot, only to see it once again go to Doe. These contenders are the ones who suffer, not us, so Doe you get your one last chance on the 25th, and like always, you will fall short. Glenn and I have been barred from the building, so we cant even be there to celebrate with Eric after his big win, how fair is that?

And speaking of fair, what about Mick Foley? Everyone knows Foley and Doe are tight, do you really think that he is going to call it down the middle? I don't think so. Why don't we make it fair and ban socks from ringside, because you know if Eric has the match won, Foley wont count the three and will end up sticking that nasty sock down his throat, forcing him to choke on that large membrane until he is passed out, and then Doe will...NO never, no matter what Eric has to win this match, Eric will win this match! Eric WILL win this match!

Q: Thank you for your time, good luck in your future endeavors. Any final words?

A: The pleasure was obviously yours. IWC fans and talent: You never know where I'm coming, or who I'll be coming with, but you know I'm gonna get you, so just wait. I am a deadly combination of patient, evil and violent, the likes of which you haven't even begun to realize. Before its all said and done, everyone will give it up uno mas tiempo por J-Rocc, because the best is yet to come.
