INTERNATIONAL WRESTLING CARTEL

INTERROGATION
"KING OF DIAMONDS"
EDDIE KINGSTON

Conducted by Joe Dombrowski
IWC Color Commentator / Media Correspondent

Q: Mr. Kingston, The Wild Cards burst onto the IWC tag team scene out of nowhere this past summer, but let's back things up further than that. Reflect back on your training and early days in the business.

A: Well, first off, when you're asking me questions, make sure you have some bass in your voice. Black Jack and I, we trained at Chikara pro. Our trainers were "Lightning" Mike Quackenbush and Chris Hero. We also had special dojos with Ted Dibiase and Marty Jannetty. All of the other students or trainees were very jealous of Black Jack and I because they know that we were the best students to ever come out of that school.

Q: What was your first major opportunity for you & your partner to branch out into other areas of the country?

A: It was August 8th, 2003. We wrestled for IWA: Mid-South. They liked us so much that they invited us
back, over and over again. And who can blame them? Wouldn't you want the best tag team in the indepenents today in your promotion? I think so, I think so.

Q: And by the way, why exactly is Black Jack Marciano not joining us for this interview?

A: Right now he's putting in his work out in the street because Black Jack Marciano is a good soldier. He knows what has to be done. Being a hustler is a 24-7 job.

Q: List for us some of the other more high profile organizations you've had the opportunity to work for.

A: As I mentioned before, IWA Mid-South, Chikara Pro, CZW...oh, and a big shout out to Sabian and Ruckus, my boys. HOLLA! WXW Germany, and countless others I can't remember.

Q: You made your IWC debut at our non-televised "Showdown at Turkeytown 3" event this past July, taking tag team champions Southern Comfort to their limit. What are your thoughts on that outing?

A: It's real simple. We took your tag team champions to their limit, and they got lucky. I guarantee next
time we are in the ring with whoever the tag team champions are, we will win!

Q: What has been your assessment on the IWC fans thus far?

A: To be quite honest with you, they have to be the greatest fans in the world. HAHAHA, seriously now,
seriouly, I'm sorry for that but I couldn't help myself. I thought saying that would be kind of funny and it was. To be real, the IWC fans, all of them, really are the poster children for abortion.

Q: Everywhere you go, you seem to illicit nothing but hatred and ill-will from the fans. Why do you hold such a contempt towards our fans, and fans everywhere for that matter?

A: It's because we don't fool ourselves into thinking that the fans are going to help us win a match...that
their support actually means something, because it doesn't. I have not seen one fan jump in the ring and
help any of their favorite wrestlers win a match physically. They can sit there and scream their name and clap their hands and all those wonderful chants that they do, but it doesn't help that person or persons win a match. We don't need moral support from anybody because Black Jack and I have each other for support. We can trust each other more than we can trust any slack-jawed local in the crowd.

Q: You also hold a victory over The Ring Crew Express, another formitable team, but right now I want to touch on the situation with Mickey & Marshall, The Gambino Brothers Moving Company, two great young athletes who have been making great strides as of late. The two of you did indeed defeat Mickey & Marshall this past August at Erie Explosion, however if I recall correctly you needed an illegal double team to score the pinfall. How do you explain yourselves?

A: It wasn't illegal if the refree didn't see it. And who are you to judge us? Who are you to say what's right and wrong? Does it matter? We still won. And that's the only thing that matters is that we won, that we win.

Q: The rematch earlier this month in Newville at "The Bar Has Been Raised" saw the two of you try similar tactics, only to be thwarted. However you had another trick up your sleeve when you pulled the tights to win. Why is it? Is it insecurity? The fear of falling down the ladder of contenders? I know you guys aren't bad wrestlers.

A: There's two type of people in this world. There are the people that are the get downs, or the lay downs. See, people like Jack and I are the get downs. We do whatever it takes to win, because that is the ultimate goal: to win. And then you have the lay down people. People like you, the Gambino Brothers, Southern Comfort. People who think that the nice guy finishes first. And what people like that have to understand is it's a cold world, and nice guys do finish last. As for your little insecurity comment.... me and Black Jack know who we are. We pull no punches when it comes to knowing who we are. We are con-men, we are hustlers, we are scum bags, I guess you can say. But above all, we are men. We know who we are, but it seems like all the other teams don't know who they are.

Q: The Gambinos get their hands on you two once again on November 6, and they'll be on the outlook for your games moreso than ever. What's your mindset leading into this, the third match in your series?

A: I'm bored. We beat them twice already. To me, there's no point in facing them again. To me, this is
just a way for IWC to help out their own boys. instead of giving us a tag title shot that we deserve, they
give us these two clowns to deal with again. Our mindset going into this match is that both of these kids are going to get hurt and IWC has no one to blame but themselves. And we are very disturbed, to put it nicely, that we're in the ring with these two again.

Q: Certainly, November 6 is a very important date for you in the near future, but what are your goals here
in IWC in the long-term?

A: Very simple: to win the tag team titles.

Q: The IWC tag team division is hotter than ever, how are you going to go about domination of that division?

A: By doing what we do best. And that is doing anything and everything to win.

Q: Any thoughts or predictions on the upcoming blockbuster Midnight Express vs. Southern Comfort tag title match?

A: Well if Norm Connors wants to put people in the seats to make some money off that show, he should put The Wild Cards against Midnight Express and against Southern Comfort. Make it a three way dance. And we will take home the IWC tag title.

Q: Do you have a message for The Gambinos, or any of your potential opponents?

A: HOLLA AT YA BOYS

Q: Mr. Kingston, thank you for your time, we all anxiously await the third match in your series with Black Jack Marciano vs. Tha Gambino Brothers on November 6.

A: The pleasure was all yours, brother. And where's my money for this?
