INTRODUCING... JASON GORY ![]() Conducted by Joe Dombrowski IWC Color Commentator / Media Correspondent Days before his IWC debut, I caught up with a subdued but highly focused Jason Gory to discuss his upcoming debut. Based on what I could detect, it was pretty clear that his actions this Saturday will ring much louder than any of his words. Q: Jason Gory, clearly you're not the most physcially imposing member of the roster, but it's clear you make up for it and then some in heart and determination. We're counting down the days to your in-ring IWC debut, and nerves must be starting to set in. How is your state of mind at this point, knowing how important November 6 is going to be? A: I can't wait until the 6th. I am just keeping my mind clear and focusing on preparing for my match against Shiima Xion. Q: We all know you've been training at the IWC Coalition of Competition for well over a year now in preparation for your debut, what were your experiences like on a typical day of training? A: Training days are what I look forward to in the week. Down at the C.O.C. you dont have to worry about everyday problems and outside distractions. It is a place you can tone your skills while not being bothered with anything going on in your life. Q: Is there any way to describe the amount of pain and physical and mental sacrifice you've gone through to reach this point? A: The way i describe it is that it's worth it. I've had my hard times training with injuries and such but trained with them and overcame it because I knew if I missed a day it would just make it that much longer until I could get my shot in the IWC. Q: You've spent several months assisting at our live events as well, and that's not an easy chore for you either. What were some of your chief responsibilities at our live events? A: I did anything i could to help the show to be a success, from loading the ring, setting it up, taking it down, then loading it back into the truck. I also helped injured wrestlers out of the ring when needed. Q: Do you have a choice for most memorable moments you've been a part of during your stint with IWC Security? A: Almost getting clobbered with a chair by Sebastian Dark, and Jimmy Jacobs with a spike got me a little worried. Q: Now that you've finally been given the opportunity to step into the ring...for those of us who have never seen you before, how would you describe your in-ring style? A: Fast Paced and Technical. I could keep your grounded if needed or catch you off-guard with an aerial move. Q: What would you consider your potential signature maneavers? A: You'll have to wait and see. Q: Since you are now a member of our active roster, it gives you more of a chance to show fans the real Jason Gory and not just another face in a crowd of IWC Security members. What are fans going to see from you in terms of your personality & demeanor? A: Fans will see intensity, focuse, and determination. Q: I've had the opportunity to catch a few small glimpses at the real Jason Gory and noticed your rather unique facepaint. What exactly is the significance of the facepaint? A: My facepaint signifies the state of mind I am in at the time, a good and evil type. If it's one up and one down I'm neutral. If I got both going up, it means that there is nothing that can bother me. BUT if both are going down, WATCH OUT! Q: Do you have any words for your opponent, the also-debuting Shiima Xion? A: Me and Shiima have battled at the C.O.C. and in West Virginia. He's a hard worker but has been getting the model attitude. Shiima you better have eyes on the back and sides of your head because you never know which way I'm coming from. Q: After all this hard work and all the sacrifice, what would it mean to you personally to win this match in your hometown? A: It would mean a great deal. It would be amazing to go out there in front of my home town and show them what I got and hopefully bring home the V.
