INTERNATIONAL WRESTLING CARTEL

INTRODUCING...
JIMMY RAVE
X
Conducted by Joe Dombrowski
IWC Color Commentator / Media Correspondent

When Jimmy Rave made his IWC debut on June 5, 2004 he likely had no idea that he would receive the large amount of unanimous crowd support that he did. The record CCAC crowd delivered their verdict on Rave in the form of a "Please Come Back" chant echoing throughout the building. With support like that, it's no wonder Rave has stepped foot in virtually every major promotion in the country. A few short days following his IWC debut, Media Correspondent Joe Dombrowski caught up with Rave to get his thoughts on his success in IWC and abroad.

Q: After several years of hard work and dedication, you've finally earned your way onto the IWC roster. However, the road was anything but easy. Share with us some of your memories of your training and first breaking into the business.
A: I was playing football and baseball in high school and after a game I saw a poster that my school was holding a pro wrestling event. So I went and after that I was hooked!  I talked to this guy John Johnson he was a ref at the time, and he introduced me to [NWA Wildside's] Murder One. Training was intense but all worth it in the end!

Q: Who were a few of your major influences and inspirations in the early-goings of your career and today?
A: When I was a kid... Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Ric Flair, Mr. Perfect and Hogan. When I got in the sport my biggest influences came from Tony Mamaluke.

Q: Your success has allowed you to branch out from your home state of Georgia to other well-known groups such as Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW), NWA: TNA's weekly pay-per-views and syndicated program, and of course IWC. What would you consider your career highlights up to this point?
A: Winning the NWA World Jr. Title was the first thing, then after that was apprearing on TNA's PPVs.

Q: Any particular favorite match or opponent stand out in your mind as the definite favorite?
A: My favorite match was a 4 Way Ladder Match with myself, JC Dazz, Jason Cross and AJ Styles from 2001.

Q: Switching to the present, now that you've made your way to IWC, what do you hope to accomplish here?
A: I just want to make a lasting impression on IWC and the fans.

Q: You've already made your debut in very impressive fashion. What have your initial impressions been on the IWC locker room, fans, and organization as a whole?
A: I enjoyed myself a lot...the locker room was very cool, the show was awesome, but the best thing was the FANS. I was shocked about how super hot they were. Thank you!

Q: Thoughts on the man you defeated in your debut, another very talented star on the rise in "Fabulous" John McChesney?
A: He's a hell of an athelete and someone to watch out for in the near future!

Q: What are some of your signature moves fans should be on the lookout for?
A: From Dusk Till Dawn which is my verision of a crossface and my running knee strike.

Q: What do you want the IWC fans to think of when they see the name "Jimmy Rave" on an IWC card?
A: I want them to think they are in for a damn good match with anyone they put me in there with!

Q: What does the future hold for Jimmy Rave in IWC and abroad?
A: BIG THINGS!

Keep an eye out for Jimmy Rave on future IWC live events! Stay tuned!
