COMBAT
RETURNS TO CLEARFIELD January 31st, 2012 IWC returns to
the Clearfield County Fairgrounds with Combat in Clearfield 3!
It all takes place on Saturday March 3rd, 2012 at 7:30 PM! We're
happy to announce the first 5 matches for this event!
Since the last time we graced the streets
of Clearfield, IWC has a brand new Super Indy Champion: Michael
"The Bomber" Facade. However, the last time we were in
Clearfield, Facade met his match in the form of the "Frontman"
Logan Shulo. The two men had an epic battle that exhausted the
time limit. Fans have wanted a rematch of this Match of the Year
Candidate ever since, and now they'll get it on March 3rd! This
time, the IWC Super Indy Title will be on the line!!!
Dalton Castle is by far one of the biggest break-out stars in
IWC. His unique personality combined with his in-ring ability
creates an odd combination his opponents have yet to figure out
how to counter. The last time IWC came to Clearfield, the "Party
Peacock" defeated Clearfield's own Sebastian, thanks to outside
interference from Chest Flexor, who remained at ringside
following an interview segment with Castle. Now, Flexor wont be
the only one at ringside on March 3rd, as Sebastian will get his
chance for revenge against Castle in a Lumberjack Match! IWC
superstars will surround the ring to prevent the two men from
spilling to the outside, or to prevent any interference from the
outside!
Another rematch from Combat in Clearfield 2 will see the
Founding Fathers' Super Hentai take on Marshall "The Bull"
Gambino! The war between the Founding Fathers and the Gambino
Brothers continues on March 3rd following over a year's worth of
antimosity, but things have taken an odd twist. At IWC's last
event, Pure Talent, a man in an odd mask attacked Founding
Fathers member Jimmy Vega$, which led to the Gambinos being able
to pick up the victory. Vega$ & Hentai claim the Gambinos are
responsible, but the Gambinos seem to have no idea who the
masked man was. In this video, IWC owner Chuck Roberts confronts both
teams following their match and the return match is made between Hentai & Marshall...
March 3rd will see a battle between two former Super Indy
champions as Gory takes on Matt Justice. Gory's shocking
transformation into the monster he is today was preceded by a
loss to Justice at Winner Takes All 2011. After the match,
Justice offered Gory his hand, but Gory walked out. Later in the
evening, Gory attacked Facade following Facade's Super Indy
Title victory in the main event. Was the loss to Justice the
catalyst for this drastic change in Gory? These two former Super
Indy champions will do battle one more time at Combat in
Clearfield 3. This time, Gory has an edge that seems to give him
an advantage, as he has already qualified for Super Indy XI by
defeating Aiden Veil at Pure Talent. After losing to Facade at
Pure Talent, Justice needs a victory to stay in the Super Indy
Title hunt here. Who will emerge victorious?
At Pure Talent, Tyler Stone & David R. DiMera had a golden
opportunity in the form of an IWC Tag Team Title match against
the One Nighters. But before the match, Stone introduced his
newly found friend "Mr. VIP" Joe Rosa and brought him to
ringside. Stone was clearly distracted the entire match, and had
a different attitude about him. They seemed to get the upper
hand in the match, and DiMera tried to give Stone an assist over
the top rope in a dive on the One Nighters. But instead, Stone
shoved him out of the way into the corner. The momentary
distraction allowed the One Nighters to move and Stone
splattered on the floor. Back in the ring, they hit a double
superkick on DiMera to pick up the win and retain the titles.
After the match, both Rosa and Stone attacked DiMera, leaving
him laying with an ace crusher and tiger driver, respectively.
For Combat in Clearfield 3, DiMera has found a partner in Blue
Collar Slaughterhouse's Bronco McBride, apparently feeling that
"the enemy of my enemy is my friend" applies in this situation.
Will this new duo be able to coexist against Stone & Rosa?
