INTERNATIONAL WRESTLING CARTEL

A Q&A WITH
"CLASSIC" COLT CABANA

How old are you and how long have you
been a professional wrestler?
I am 22 years of age. I've been wrestling for almost four years now. I was trained in Chicago, Illinois at the Steel Domain Training Facility. I trained for six hours a day, four days a week. My trainers beat the living crap out of me and tought me to respect pro wrestling ever before I had any pro matches.

In addition to the IWC Heavyweight Title, what other significant titles have you held in other promotions?
I'm the current NWA Illinois Heavywieght Champion, ACW Heavywieght Champion based in Wisconsin, and IWF Michigan Heavyweight Champion. I've also at one time held the Indiana-based IWA Midsouth Heavyweight Championship and our very own IWC Heavyweight Championship.

Besides winning titles, what are some of the significant highlights and/or matches in your career?
I was able to compete in the Alaskan Anarchy Above Average Accumulation of All-Stars, better known as the A6, in Anchorage. I also had the opportunity to wrestle a midget in front of 14,000 fans in Indianapolis, IN, as well as my participation in last year's IWC Super Indy Tournament in Pittsburgh, PA.

Why have you chosen IWC to stake your claim
in this region of the U.S.?
The people in the Pittsburgh area are some of the best fans in this great country. I've had the opportunity to travel to a lot of places and IWC comes across as one of the most respectful and professional promotions around. IWC also has such a great level of competition and Norm Connors is the best promoter of all time... ALL TIME!!!

You lost the IWC Heavyweight Title in a hard-fought match against Dennis Gregory. Then you watched as Jimmy Vega$ took advantage of the situation and took the belt away from him in under five minutes. What went through your mind as you witnessed that?
I thought it was ridiculous. You know that crazy Chinese guy who eats like 100 hot dogs in one minute? Even I could beat him in a hot dog eating contest if it occured after he just stuffed himself full of hot dogs. It's not hard to beat a dead horse.

What have you got to say to Dennis Gregory?
Dennis really showed his true colors after our match. I wish Dennis the safest and quickest recovery possible. He'll be missed and the level of competition will only get stronger once he returns.

superstars CM Punk and Chris Hero.

What have you got to say
to Jimmy Vega$?
I think Jimmy Vega$ is a scum bag. That's right, a SCUM BAG. When I was the champ, I beat him in Butler, PA fair and square. I'm just waiting for my opportunity at his belt because once it happens, you can rest assure I'll be back representing IWC as the Heavywieght Champion!

What do you hope to achieve
in IWC in 2003?
I plan on becoming a 2nd time IWC Heavywieght Champion, that is for sure. I'm also considering finding myself a tag team partner and becoming an IWC Tag Champ as well. Just know that in 2003, it will only get better for "Classic" Colt Cabana.
